Lord Baden Powell Drive, between Wilks Avenue and Captain Cook Drive Monday 22 May for about five days 7am - 5pm Alternating lane closures, depending on which road side crews are working on. Detours in place.
Fernleigh Road, between Glenfield Road and Pinaroo Drive Thursday 25 May for about 10 days 7am - 5pm

Traffic reduced to one lane each way with reduced 40km/h speed limit applied. No right turn permitted during the works. Pedestrian access will be maintained around the work site.

Copland Street Fri 16 June - Wed 21 June. No work on Sun 18 June.  7am - 5pm No on street parking in front of 81-83 Copland St, inlcuding bus drop offs. On Friday 16 June, no vehicle access permitted to 81 Copland St.
Farrer Road TBA TBA Crews will be working on the side of the road, with occasional works carried out on the road. Signs will be in place, and, every endeavour will be made to keep any disruptions or inconveniences to traffic to a minimum.
Edmondson Street, at overpass, between Erin St and Edward St. Sunday May 28 & Sunday June 4 & Sunday June 117am - 5pm each day May 28 - Southbound lane closed. Southbound traffic moved on to one lane of northbound side

Roadworks

Lord Baden Powell Drive

What: Erosion repair works on the side of the roadway.

When: Monday 22 May, for about five days, from 7am - 5pm - weather permitting

Traffic conditions: While the works are on the side of the road, lane closures are required to allow a safe work area for crews. The closures will alternate, depending on which side of the road side crews are working on on the day. Detours will be in place for affected motorists.

Fernleigh Road

What: Relocation of water main by Riverina Water County Council. These works are necessary for a future upgrade of the Fernleigh Road culvert, between Glenfield Road and Pinaroo Drive.

When: Thursday 25 May for about 10 days, from 7am - 5pm, weather permitting

Traffic conditions: Traffic reduced to one lane each way with reduced 40km/h speed limit applied. No right turn permitted during the works. Pedestrian access will be maintained around the work site.

Eunony Bridge Road

What: Installation of two new guardrails

When: Saturday May 20 - Sunday May 21, from 7am to 5pm, weather permitting

Traffic conditions: Traffic controls will be in place for motorists where works are being carried out. One guardrail is being installed south of Eunony Bridge, another just north of Gumly Road.

Copland Street

What: Construction of new bus bay

When: Friday 16 June - Wednesday 21 June (no work Sunday 18 June) - weather permitting. From 7am - 5pm.

Traffic conditions: No on street parking in front of 81-83 Copland St, inlcuding bus drop offs. On Friday 16 June, no vehicle access permitted to 81 Copland St.

Farrer Road

What: The City of Wagga Wagga has engaged a consultant to carry out surveying and potholing (drilling test holes) works to determine location and depth of underground services in the area. These works are part of preliminary works which will be used to help determine designs for any future upgrade of Farrer Road.

When: TBA

Traffic conditions: Crews will be working on the side of the road, with occasional works carried out on the road. Signs will be in place, and, every endeavour will be made to keep any disruptions or inconveniences to traffic to a minimum.

Edmondson Street

What: Removal of Paper Mulberry trees at overpass - between Erin and Edward streets

When: Sunday May 28 & Sunday June 4 & Sunday June 11. From 7am to 5pm each day - weather permitting.

Traffic conditions: Traffic control will be in place on each day at the location of the work site. Changed traffic conditions is as follows:
May 28 - Southbound lane closed. Southbound traffic moved on to one lane of northbound side. See traffic management plan.  
June 4 - Southbound lane closed. Southbound traffic moved on to one lane of northbound side. See traffic management plan.
June 11 - Northbound lane closed. Northbound traffic moved on to one lane of southbound side. See traffic management plan.

Tarcutta/Tompson streets

What: Upgrades to the intersection of Tarcutta and Tompson. These works include the installation of a raised median island, kerb islands and line marking. The works are safety measures and improve motorists’ line of sight when at the intersection.

When: Stage 1: April 27-28 (complete), and, Monday 1 May. Stage 2: from Monday 5 June.

Traffic conditions: Changed traffic conditions apply. Reduced lanes and reduce speed limits.

Mitchell Road

What: Road rehabilitation works on Mitchell Road, between Cummins and Gregadoo roads.

When: On hold.

Traffic conditions: Lane closures along Mitchell Road to through traffic

East Bomen Road 

What: The Bomen Enabling Roads project requires road closure to construct new roadways and roundabout

When: From 3 January 2017 until June 2017

Traffic conditions: Road closed
