Inspection Bookings

To allow for ease in the booking of Construction Certificate inspections, Council  has implemented a new initiative commencing on 1 July 2014. Construction Certificate inspections requests (excluding Interim Occupations and/or Final Occupations Certificate Inspections) will have the ability to be emailed through to a specifically created email address, being inspections@wagga.nsw.gov.au.     

Upon receipt of the emailed inspection request, a confirmation of receipt will automatically be sent to the you identifying that Council will book the inspection and reply with the relevant information by email within 48 hours.

The email group will be checked twice daily, being morning and afternoon and inspection bookings made appropriately. Should your request be unable to be accommodated, Council's administrative staff will contact you directly to arrange another suitable time. The confirmation email of the booking to the customer will be linked in Council's record system against the application and property for future reference. 

To assist in the booking process, details such as the Construction Certificate number, type of inspection required, property address, contact name and phone number will be required to be stated in the email to allow for the booking of the construction inspection.

Bookings for Construction Certificate inspections may still be arranged by telephoning Council's Development Services Section 48 hours prior to the required inspections on 1300 292 442 between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
