The next generation of Wagga Wagga artists is unveiled in Respond, the graduate show for Fine Arts stduents from TAFE NSW Riverina Institute and Charles Sturt University. Respond features painting, drawing, printmaking and many other fresh and exciting works in a range of contemporary media.
Participants in Respond include Peter Bowden, Kim Butler, Adriana Cabrales, Jac DeTessier, Sarah Keyes, Marita Macklin, Andrew Mason, Charlotte Moore, Marilyn Thompson and Rebecca West. These artists, from the Advanced Diploma and Degree Fine Arts courses at Charles Sturt University and TAFE NSW Riverina Institute, illustrate the diversity of contemporary arts practice. This exhibition has been designed by the students themselves to demonstrate the development of their art to a state of resolution in response to their environment and their interation with fellow students.
