Playground Upgrades

PLAYGROUND UPGRADES: City of Wagga Wagga's Works and Playground Officer at the new-look Simmons Street playground in 2016.

Wagga Wagga and its surrounding villages have over 90 playgrounds, which offer a range of different play opportunities for kids. Playground management is carried out on each playground in the Local Government Area, as in line with the City of Wagga Wagga's Playground Strategy.

Sometimes when playgrounds are being updated, residents are asked to help design the new space - this could be from selecting favourite pieces of play equipment, or choosing between completed playground designs. When community feedback is required, residents can make their submissions through the online Wagga View page.

Find your nearest playgrounds via the Wagga Wagga map.
