Terms & Conditions



1.1 Entrants must consent to being nominated for a Wagga Wagga Local Achievement Award.

1.2 A nomination form must be completed and contain the contact details of the nominee, nominator and referee.

1.3 For organisations, the nomination must be authorised by senior manager, chief executive officer or board member.

1.4 Entrants must be available to attend the awards ceremony on Friday 21 February 2020 if they are selected as a finalist.

1.5 Entrants must be a resident of the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area


2.1 A designated panel of judges will select finalists and one winner from each award category.

2.2 Nominations will be shortlisted and then assessed by the panel.

2.3 Judges reserve the right to accept or reject nominations for the awards or to refrain from presenting an award in one or more categories if the standard of submission is considered to be insufficient.

2.4 The decision of the judges of the Wagga Wagga Local Achievement Awards will at all times be binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

2.5 Judges reserve the right to have the entry considered in an alternative award category if deemed, appropriate.

2.6 All promotional material and information remains the property of Wagga Wagga City Council.


3.1 Entrants agree to participate in media interviews and photographic opportunities, where possible.

3.2 Wagga Wagga City Council reserves the right to contact the media about the nomination and to publish the entrant’s photos and biographical details.
