Election Updates

Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

Council is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation and act in accordance with NSW Health guidelines.

As you may be aware, there have been a number of persons in the Wagga Wagga LGA test positive for COVID-19.

In the interest of public safety, Council has decided to cancel the face to face Workshops and we are investigating other options that might be available for the sessions to proceed via a webcast, zoom-in session or a video.

There is also a possibility that the September 2020 Elections will be postponed. Should this happen, the Workshops may instead be rescheduled until a later date.

We will update any news relating to the Council Elections on this page as more information becomes available.

In the lead up to the Council elections in September 2020, we will post updates here as they are released from the NSW Electoral Commission and Office of Local Government.
