Captain Cook Drive

What: Shoulder grading and roadside maintenance (tree pruning) to prepare Captain Cook Drive for resealing later in the year

When: Tuesday 17 July – Friday 27 July

Traffic conditions: Motorists are advised that Captain Cook Drive will be closed to through traffic for 10 days from Wednesday 17 to Friday 27 June. Works will happen in two stages: tree pruning is scheduled for the first week (17 - 20 July) and shoulder grading/roadside maintenance in the second week (23 - 27 July).
Access will be provided to service providers if required.

Baylis Street

What: Excavation and electrical repair works on street lights at 110 Baylis Street (western side of Baylis Street between Forsyth and Morgan streets)

When: From Monday 23 July for one week, weather permitting

Traffic conditions: Take care while travelling in the area. Area will be fenced off from pedestrians. Two parking spaces will be unavailable during works.

Hayes Street (North Wagga)

What: Asphalt works

When: From Tuesday 24 July for two days

Traffic conditions: Hayes Street will be closed to through traffic at Hampden Avenue Service Road.

Moorong Street

What: Asphalt works

When: Monday 23 July (one day)

Traffic conditions: Partial closure of Moorong Street, works completed in two halves to maintain vehicular access at all times

Patey Close

What: Stabilisation/maintenance work at entry into Patey Close

When: From Tuesday 24 July for three days (weather permitting)

Traffic conditions: Partial road closure under stop/go traffic control to maintain vehicular access for residents. Works hours from 7am to 5pm. No on-street parking near the work site.

Ashfords Road

What: Asphalt heavy patching works at the entry of the Gregadoo Waste Management Centre.

When: From Wednesday 25 July for three days (weather permitting)

Traffic conditions:  The works site will be under traffic control and split into three  separate stages to maintain vehicular access to the Gregadoo Waste Management Centre and the remainder of Ashford’s Road for the duration of the project.

Mitchell Road (between Cummins Road and Gregadoo Road)

What: Road rehabilitation works

When: Ongoing

Traffic conditions: Stop/go traffic in place with temporary closures needed at times. Local access maintained and site open to traffic at the end of each day.
