The following services have already been disrupted as a result of the current advice from the federal and state governments

Animal Shelter Changed  Existing operating hours are in place. Front gate will be closed with staff meeting public at front gate for safety for animal pick ups and drop offs. No cash payments.

Building Inspections Open Existing operating hours are in place
Call Centre Open Existing operating hours are in place for 1300 292 442.
Cemetery Changed Funerals attended by a maximum of no more than 10 people and where the 1 person per 4 square metre rule applies.

Community / Recereation Centres Closed Currently closed

Council Committees Changed Changes to committee meetings and dates. Read the Council Committees page for more information.
Council Meetings Changed Council meetings will still be held but they will be conducted remotely. Members of the public are encouraged to watch these meetings on our livestream or via Facebook.
Customer Service Changed The Customer Service desk in the Civic Centre will be closed from 5pm Friday 27th March.
Customers are encouraged to utilise Online Services or contact the Call Centre on 1300 292 442.
Development Assessment Open Existing operating hours are in place
Family Day Care Open Existing operating hours are in place
Gregadoo Waste Management Centre Changed Existing operating hours are in place. No cash payments
Health Inspections Closed Currently closed
Livestock Marketing Centre Changed Existing opening hours are in place. Closed to members of the public. Only agents, current employed processor buyer’s, transporters, contractors and staff are permitted to attend LMC.

Visitor Information Centre Closed Closed as of 5pm Wednesday 25th March.
Waste and Recycling (Kerbside) Collection Open Existing collection schedule in place
Wilks Park Closed By Public Health Order Wilks Park is closed from 26 March 2020 until further notice.

Council owned outdoor recreational and play assets

As of the 27th March, in the interest of the communities health and safety, and to comply with COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, all Council owned outdoor recreational and play assets are closed until further notice.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Playgrounds
  • BBQ areas
  • Skate parks
  • BMX and pump tracks
  • Basketball facilities
  • Tennis facilities
  • Outdoor gym equipment

Please note that Council's open spaces remain open and available for public use, in accordance with the recommended social distancing and appropriate hygiene practices. We encourage you to go for a walk/jog/ride in the fresh air to enjoy these spaces, while maintaining your distance from others.
