The Wagga Wagga City Library has an area dedicated to the youth of the growing community of Wagga Wagga. The Youth Area is located beneath the stairs and features a glass-enclosed view of the lagoon gardens, with comfortable benches and beanbags.
There are three library computers with internet access and Microsoft Office programs, as well as power points for smartphones, tablets, and notebooks. The library also provides quality information databases such as the Points of View Reference Centre, which presents arguments for and against controversial global issues.
The XBox one is available with various games for members to play, and the Youth Area contains the library's collection of manga, graphic novels, and magazines for teen readers such as Girlfriend, frankie, and MAD.
Resources from the Youth collection are available for loan and can be accessed during library hours. Requests may be made for items out on loan or owned by a branch library by talking to the staff at the ground level desk, or at the Information Desk at the top of the stairs. Requests may also be made online by selecting 'reserve title'.
Information on resources such as books, study guides and magazines may be accessed via the Riverina Regional Library catalogue.
If you have any questions about Youth resources or Youth events presented by Wagga Wagga City Library, please contact the library.
