About the Plan
The purpose of the CSP is to identify the community’s main priorities and aspirations for the future and to plan strategies for achieving these goals.
During 2023 and 2024, Council delivered a series of public consultation opportunities in order to inform our local community of the development of Wagga Wagga 2050 - Community Strategic Plan, and to gather their ideas and visions for Wagga Wagga's future.
Over 2,500 submissions were received as part of the community consultation a which were incorporated into the draft document.
The draft Wagga Wagga 2050 - Community Strategic Plan was placed on public exhibition in February - March 2025, and was adopted at the Monday 28 April 2025 Ordinary Council Meeting.
