Contractors seeking accreditation must provide evidence that they:

Have the required skills and experience for the type of work they are applying for (for example, relevant trade licences and references).
Have the organisational and financial capacity to complete projects of the proposed scale (typically demonstrated through financial records and certification by an accountant).
Have access to the necessary support personnel, such as surveyors, project managers, and appropriately qualified staff, to properly plan, manage and deliver the work in line with approved plans and specifications.
Hold all required licences and workers compensation (WorkCover) approvals for the work. If the project involves underground drainage or sewer works, this must include staff with confined space accreditation.
Have appropriate Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), as well as work health and safety (WHS) plans and procedures relevant to the work.
Have a working knowledge of Council’s Engineering Guidelines for Subdivision and Development.
Hold the required insurances as outlined in the contract and in Council’s Engineering Guidelines for Subdivision and Development.
