We'll be constructing a pedestrian refuge island on Tarcutta Street and widening the existing footpath on Day Street.
The work is expected to be carried out from 14 to 18 March, weather permitting.
During the works single lane closures will be necessary on Tarcutta Street between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
A reduced speed limit and traffic control will be in place.
