EOI - Collection of Mulched Green Garden Waste

Expressions of Interest:

Collection of Mulched Green Garden Waste and Provisional Crushed Plasterboard/Gypsum for Re-use Purposes

Wagga Wagga City Council invites submissions from contractors for the collection and off-site re-use of mulched green garden waste and, optionally, crushed unpainted plasterboard/gypsum from the Gregadoo Waste Management Centre (GWMC).

This EOI seeks to identify interested parties who can provide suitable off-site reuse solutions for:

• Approximately 3,000 tonnes (based on FY 2023/2024 data) of mulched green garden waste.
• Optionally, crushed unpainted plasterboard/gypsum material.
• Mulched Green Garden Waste: Predominantly pruning, clippings, and leaves, processed quarterly into 50mm organic mulch.(Product is separated from other waste types).
• Crushed Plasterboard/Gypsum (Optional): Unpainted material, separated and crushed, stockpiled for potential collection.

Collection Requirements:

• Contractors must collect and transport the material off-site using their own equipment.
• Council will load vehicles at no cost to the contractor.
• Collection must occur within agreed timeframes as arranged with Council.

Interested parties are invited to submit their EOI outlining:

• Proposed reuse/end-use of materials
• Transport capabilities
• Any interest in collecting the optional gypsum/plasterboard
• Availability to commence collection and frequency
