Volunteering is a great opportunity to contribute to the local community, make new friends, develop new skills and have fun!

Volunteers at Wagga Wagga City Council are fundamental to the successful provision of our much needed services and programs.

The vital contribution of volunteers enables us to reach out to more people. Volunteers provide an invaluable contribution to the community.

Volunteers and Work Experience applicants for the below roles will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to undertaking their work placement or volunteer work:

  1. Glenfield Road Animal Shelter (GRAS) – Q Fever
  2. Botanic Gardens Zoo and Aviary – Q Fever
  3. Parks and Gardens – Hepatitis B

Immunisations are a simple, safe and effective way to protect you, your family and others in the community from serious diseases. Council requires vaccinations for all of its workers to safely perform their roles.
