What are end of trip facilities?

End of trip facilities make it easier for you to choose cycling as your main method of transport. They promote a healthier, more active community, and help reduce our reliance on fossil-fuelled transportation.

Locations

We have two end of trip facilities available:

Visitor Information Centre: 183 Tarcutta Street, Wagga Wagga
Oasis Aquatic Centre: 50 Morgan Street, Wagga Wagga

These facilities include:

  • secure bicycle parking including CCTV
  • bicycle lockers
  • bike repair station
  • water bottle filling station.

The Visitor Information Centre has a shower and change room available. You can also access the showers and change rooms at the Oasis Aquatic Centre for a fee (please see the team at the Oasis Aquatic Centre for more details).

How does it work?

You can apply for an end of trip facility access pass here:

End of Trip Cycling Facilities - Application Form

We’ll let you know we’ve received your application. You can collect your access pass from either the Customer Service desk at the Civic Centre or the Oasis Aquatic Centre  – just bring your photo ID*.

Then simply ride to one of the two locations, swipe your access card, and use the facilities as often as you like.

*Please note - minors under 16 years of age must:

  • have a parent or legal guardian agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement
  • attend with their parent or legal guardian to collect their access card.

Bicycle parking

  • Each facility has 10 vertical bike racks and 3 bicycle lockers, available on a first-in, first-served basis.
  • We recommend you lock your bicycle securely to the shared rack with your own lock and chain. Remember to take your lock and chain with you when you ride home.
  • Our bicycle lockers are to store bicycles only, not any other personal belongings or equipment.
  • To keep our facility secure, please close the door when you leave.

Access

Your card gives you access to both facilities which are open 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

Security

Both facilities are fitted with sensor lights and are under 24-hour CCTV surveillance.

Cost

Access cards cost $5.

What if I lose my access card?

Report your lost access card to the facility of purchase:

You can get a new access card for a $10 replacement fee.

Uncollected property

To keep our facilities safe and tidy, we’ll remove any property left unattended for over 72 hours (cutting locks or chains where necessary).

We’ll store this property for 28 days, after which we’ll dispose of it.
