Project update
Council recently invited tender submissions from companies to design and construct the new facility. The tender will be open for four weeks and close on 27 September 2023.
Multiple tender briefings have been made available to provide the best opportunity for tenderers to consider this project.
The tender for the demolition of the existing clubhouse and courts closed on 12 July 2023.
Assessment of the tender for the demolition of the existing facility will occur at the same time as proposals for designing and constructing the new facility are assessed.
Assessing both tenders at the same time will allow Council to consider them within the framework of the overall project budget. This approach is important due to the significant increase of construction costs over the past few years.
