Luke Vineburg has created a mural to increase awareness and celebrate the beauty of locally threatened species, the Barking Owl and the Squirrel Glider. The Barking Owl and Squirrel Glider are depicted on a background representing the meandering banks of the Murrumbidgee river and the gums that line the banks.

Luke Vineburg is a Wagga Wagga artist and creative thinker with roots in graffiti and illustration. Vineburg’s style has evolved from a strictly graffiti lettering and character style to a photorealistic delivery of animals and landscapes, with an eye for detail. Vineburg has created work at the Botanic Gardens Wagga Wagga as well as the Talbingo Elizabeth Street Water Tank.
