21 November 2021: The river in Wagga reached 6.2m and continued to rise overnight before beginning to drop away today

WaterNSW have worked quickly to drop Burrinjuck Dam to 91% and have decreased the outflows in line with reducing inflows and runoff.

Mundowy Lane was inundated at about 11.00 Saturday morning and Council placed traffic lights and an escort vehicle in place to advise and assist travellers on this road.

The river in Wagga will stay between 5 and 6m for at least the next week as more rain is forecast to come through the area.
