Are you a silly goofy character? Maybe it's time to bring that epic energy to the stage 🎭

Freeroam Theatre Company are a local creative group of young people, who produce, act and direct theatrical stage shows!

They love to have fun, be silly and help you hone the creative art of all things theatre. In these workshops you can expect to be jumping around the room, dramatically yelling fictional lines and finish with an unforgettable show.

Two workshops are available. Please select the right workshop based on your age.

10 places per workshop available 💥 Ticket purchase required for attendance and participation.

Snacks and refreshments provided at each workshop.

This event is for 12 to 25 year old's as part of our 2026 October YOUth School Holiday Program.

Dates + Timings: Friday 2 October, 2026

Workshop ONE: For 12 to 17 year olds // 9:30AM - 12:30PM

Workshop TWO: For 18 to 25 year olds // 1:30PM - 4:30PM

Cost: Young Person (12 - 25 years): $5 + booking fee

Public Transport Options:  You could jump on the 966 Busabout Bus which will take you to Shaw Street. The 962 and/or 693 Busabout Bus will take you to Docker Street, which is a short walk to Shaw Street.

Important Information: For the safety of all attendees, there are no pass-outs for this event. What does this mean? It means that if you are required to leave the event/venue, a parent or carer must be present to collect you and show proof of identity if under 16 years old. Once you have left the event venue, you cannot re-enter.

For under 16 year old's, parent or carer supervision is preferred and there will be seating available.

This is a drug and alcohol free event.

*Freeroam Theatre Company Facilitators hold active and current NSW Working with Children's Checks.

Accessibility: Duke of Kent Community Hall is an accessible venue with accessible bathrooms, walkways, seating and parking available. Freeroam Theatre Company are passionate about making this creative space as accessible and safe as possible - just let the friendly team know what you need.

NOTE: It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian/responsible adult to choose programs that are suitable for their young person.

Wagga Wagga City Council have right of refusal for your booking, if selected programs do not meet the needs or age of your young person.
