The rating awarded to a food business is in relation to a food safety assessment carried out by an authorised officer of council at a premise and is reflective of the time and date the inspection was undertaken.

A reinspection will not be undertaken until a minimum of 3 months after an Application for Reinspection is lodged. Should a reinspection be granted an unannounced reinspection will be conducted. All reinspections conducted incur a fee as per Wagga Wagga City Council’s current Revenue and Pricing Policy.

It is to be noted that a reinspection does not guarantee a higher rating will be awarded.
