Advertising in the city is a great way to maximise the visibility of your event and reach a wide audience.
Council offers public bookings at the following locations:
- CBD banner located above the Wollundry Lagoon bridge
- Underpass gateway (Cnr Tarcutta Street and Edward Street)
- Western gateway (Cnr Edward Street and Moorong Street opposite Barbeques Galore)
- Temporary Event Signage located throughout Wagga Wagga in 9 locations
The CBD Banner is used to display local events and information and can be hired in a one week block.
The Gateway Signs are used for provide a positive and welcoming message to visitors to the city. Council-organised and supported events or non-Council organised events which encourage people from outside the 2650 area code to visit our city are displayed at these locations.
The Temporary Event Signs must promote an upcoming community event that is being held within the Wagga Wagga City Council Local Government Area.
The sign specifications and general information relating to hiring of these sites can be found in the Conditions of Use. Bookings for these locations can be made up to 12 months in advance.
Signage Fees & Charges
The below shows the pricing schedule for the hire of Council's gateway signage and CBD banner space. Council's fees and charges are updated annually and new rates are available from July 1.
