If you are interested in adopting an animal from the Glenfield Road Animal Shelter, the first step is to complete this Adoption Questionnaire (below) which secures your interest in a particular animal.
Our adoption policy is “first in, first served”. If the first interested party declines going further in the adoption process, we will move onto the next in line. Upon submission, your application will be given due consideration and you will be notified if your application has been approved after the rescue/adoption date of the animal.
Please note – if you are unsuccessful, you will not be contacted. Please allow 24 – 48 hours after the animal’s available date for a decision to be made.
GRAS staff recommend visiting the shelter to meet the animal prior to adoption, and if you already have other pets a "meet and greet" between the animals is recommended to ensure they will get along.
The Glenfield Road Animal Shelter is open Monday to Saturday 1pm - 4:15pm.
