The Eastern Murrumbidgee Youth Service (EMYS) in partnership with the Homeless Youth Assistance Program (HYAP), will be running a Youth Homelessness Matters event on the 17th of April 2024.
We will hold a march starting at Higgins Ave, Wagga Wagga at 11.30am. We will be walking up the Wiradjuri walking path, where we will end the walk at the Wagga Beach with a BBQ lunch.
As you are aware youth homelessness has become a national crisis all over Australia.
Because of this we are seeking to put a spotlight on this matter. Through events, discussion with key stakeholders and with community action we hope to improve the situation for our young people.
This is a small gesture of our commitment to this matter and we would be very grateful if you could attend this event in support of youth homelessness.
