In 2019, Council banned the use of all single-use plastic items by vendors to reduce the festival footprint.
Council will provide clearly signed and colour-coded waste collection stations strategically placed across the festival site. Red-capped bins are for general waste and yellow-capped bins are for recycling. Green-capped Food Organics (FOGO) bins are for compostable catering ware, packaging and food waste.
We thank our festivalgoers for helping support this sustainable festival approach.
