Fusion Botanical is an outdoor festival held at the Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens, on MacLeay Street in Turvey Park. Please see map above.
Unmetered parking is available along MacLeay Street, with a temporary carpark at the Botanic Gardens site available for prepared festivalgoers. This temporary carpark includes disability parking spaces and accessible walkways to the event site. Internal roads within the Botanic Gardens will be closed off to public vehicle access.
Festivalgoers are recommended to use Council’s Active Travel Paths to commute to and from the festival.
Please note: Wagga Wagga City Council Rangers will be present to ensure safe and legal public parking actions take place.
Fusion Botanical comes to life at 4:00pm and runs until 9:00pm.
Fusion Botanical has two free entry and free re-fillable water stations, so remember to pack a drink bottle or two!
The purchase of food, drinks and any other items outside the festival grounds are at your own expense.
Remember: Fusion Botanical is cashless, meaning each vendor in the World Food Village will have digital payment transactions available to you.
At Fusion Botanical, you will notice temporary fencing around Brolga Pond, lighting towers to help you see around, security guards on-foot and festival helpers in high-vis.
Please respect these measures to ensure your safety and the safety of others, including small children and young people.
There will be a wide variety of street food and drink vendors at Fusion Botanical.
Alcohol is not sold from any vendor at the festival.
Fusion Botanical encourages a sustainable and hygienic festival ground. What does this look like?
- No single-use plastic items used or sold by vendors
- Red (waste), Green (food scraps) and Yellow (hard plastic recycling) collection stations, with clear labels and Waste Warriors are on site to help you sort your waste.
- Drink bottles are encouraged for free refillable water stations
- Limited reusable hard plastic cups available for use
We’re proud to share that in 2025, waste cross-contamination was at all time low with very minimal intervention post-festival. Thank you for supporting sustainable methods again in 2026!
Nationally registered and identified Assistance Dogs are allowed on the festival site with their individual person in need.
Individual/family pets are not permitted onto the festival site and will be asked to leave.
Toilets are located near the Miniature Railway and Botanic Gardens Playground/Cafe.
Accessible bathrooms are available at each of these sites, with a Marveloo adult lay down change facility.
Toilets will be cleaned regularly throughout Fusion Botanical, but if you see anything of amiss, head down to the Information Tent.
Fusion Botanical is an event for everyone, which means we want to support you to walk and roll around the festival site.
- Wheelchair supported track matting will be available around the site.
- Slow things down at the Pop-Up Library, for a little quiet time.
- Find disability parking available in the temporary parking zone.
- Need language interpretation? ‘Community Connectors’ who are bi-lingual and multi-lingual will be walking around in high-vis to help you.
People of all ages, abilities and skills are invited to take part in the fun family-friendly festivities, at your own pace.
Picnic blankets and fold-up chairs are permitted. Prams and strollers for your young children are permitted.
Ground umbrellas and overhead structures like beach/garden tents are not permitted. Bikes and toddler trikes are not permitted.
The Wagga Wagga branch of St John’s Ambulance NSW be present from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, to ensure your First Aid needs are met under their dedicated First Aid tent.
Fusion Botanical is a public event that will be filmed and photographed for promotional purpose use by Wagga Wagga City Council, Festival Partners and any approved third parties.
