Due to ongoing heatwave conditions, Council has made the decision to move the Kooringal Kicks and Tricks event to the Bolton Park Stadium. The event will run from 1pm-5pm. The safety and wellbeing of staff, volunteers and community is our key priority.
This is your ultimate end to the summer school holidays with friends and family of all ages, all while gathering the must-have resources to kick off your best school year yet. 👏

What you can expect:
🌭🍧 FREE food thanks to community partners Rapid Food Relief, The Smith Family and Youth of Wagga.
💇♀️💇♂️✂ FREE haircuts, styling and barber cuts from 1:00pm, sponsored by the Cockatoo Initiative (NSW Government).
📗✏📏 FREE school supplies (limited & 1x child/young person) from 1:00pm, thanks to our community partners Vinnies Riverina, Wagga Community Drug Action Team, OMNIA Inclusive, The Smith Family, Riverina Water and Wagga Women's Health Centre
👚🥾🎒🧢 At the low-cost Vinnies pop-up Opportunity Shop, you can browse and purchase with cash or EFTPOS from a curated selection of clothing, shoes, toys, accessories and more, thanks to Vinnies Riverina
😃🧘♀️🎲 Relax-Station will be the ultimate hang-out space with low-key games, mindful activities, giant beanbags and perfect viewing for the Skate Comp thanks to our sponsor Relationships Australia: Canberra & Regions, alongside community partners headspace Wagga Wagga, Intereach and Medicare Mental Health
🍎💪 The Healthy Hub is active from 1:00pm for free general health checks with a Registered Nurse, practice alcohol and drug testing and information from Quitline counsellors, thanks to community partners Karralika, Murrumbidgee Local Health District, Medicare Mental Health, Directions Health and more!
🧚♂️🎨 FREE face painting, crafts and plenty more is all thanks to a number of our key local youth services!

Parking will be available around The Boulevarde, Kooringal - however please be mindful of traffic congestion, respectful of residents and do not park across/in driveways.

This event is accessible and inclusive with wheelchair accessible bathrooms available and disability permit parking found in the adjoining carpark to Henwood Park.
Entry, the skate competition, activities and food is free!
