Menneke Park EOI
Wagga Wagga City Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced artists to design and produce a functional public artwork for installation in Menneke Park in the suburb of Estella.
The purpose of the project is to celebrate the story of the park's namesake August Menneke and create a new experience for park users. The addition of a new public artwork will help activate this established park in a new and innovative way as the population continues to grow and change in this location.
Inspired by August Menneke and his famous bullock bells, the arwork must be site-specfic and appropriate for people of all ages.

Wagga Wagga City Library EOI
Wagga Wagga City Library is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from artists to produce a creative treatment in the downstairs Children’s Area in the library at the Wagga Wagga City Council Civic Centre. The creative treatment should be complimentary to the space and be visually interesting for all ages.
The purpose of the project is to bring a visually appealing treatment to this area of the library that is frequently used by children, families, and school groups as well as all ages events hosted by the library and other user groups. The aim is to make the area feel welcoming and connected with the community.
The assessment panel are looking for concepts incorporating themes of:
- Natural environment
- Connection and belonging

Engaging with Wiradjuri Culture and History
Wagga Wagga City Council welcomes proposals that celebrate the culture and heritage of the traditional custodians of the land, the Wiradjuri people. Proposals of this nature must include appropriate consultation and engagement with Wiradjuri elders.

Artist Fees
All Expressions of Interest must include a detailed budget that demonstrates all aspects of a proposal, including safety and compliance costs relating to the installation of public artworks.
Artist fees should be calculated in accordance with relevant rate schedules provided by NAVA (or a comparable body), and outlined in your proposal.
