About the session:
Do students know and understand their responsibilities in relation to food safety? This interactive workshop is developed to provide students an opportunity to build on their knowledge base on food safety matters. The talk goes through food safety laws starting with the Food Act 2003 and Food Safety Standards, their interpretation and application to retail food premises. Students will also be provided with opportunities to clarify their understanding on topics such as wearing gloves/sanitising vs handwashing and any other food safety areas of interest to the students.
