Youth Week is a week-long celebration held in April that is organised with young people, for young people 12 to 25 years.

Youth Week Busking Competition Applications
Wagga Wagga City Council are inviting expressions of interest from volunteers to be part of the 2023 Youth Week Busking Competition!

Hosted with a full PA on Wonderland Lane (just of Baylis Street, Wagga Wagga), local youth (14 to 25 years) will have the opportunity to literally plug in and play.
Solo’s, duo’s and trio’s are invited to apply for a 20 minute set with at least one (1) original song performed to go in the running to win some great prizes! Prizes include:
- People’s Choice Award - $100
- First Prize - $200
- Second Prize - $100
- Third Prize - $50
- Highly Commended - $50
Competition Dates:
- Thursday 20 April 2023, 11am to 2pm
- Friday 21 April 2023, 11am to 2pm
- Saturday 22 April 2023, 11am to 2pm
No incomplete or late applications will be considered. Participants must be aged between 14 to 25 years.
Applications must be received by 5pm Thursday 6 April 2023.
The 2023 Wagga Youth Week program is hosted on Wiradjuri Country.
